2022 Set Up
Posted by Lois Ho on
This year, I’m changing things up compared to what I used last year.
Planner
For planning, I used a Traveler’s sized Undated Tomoe River planner, which was great when I had to move around offices a lot, but this year, I’ve decided to go with an A5 undated planner. This set up gives me a bit more space to plan out my tasks. I like to break down larger tasks into smaller which helps me plan my time and get a sense of progress, so having a near full length space gives me more room to do that.
This planner has an undated monthly section (for forward planning) and weeklies are also undated. I am going to try and date the weeklies a month in advance to help me migrate items and keep on track of things.
“Life Tracker”
I am including a “life tracker” in my set up this year. This is in the Traveler’s undated planner and will help me track diet and health things. I’m not sure if this is going to be a realistic long term inclusion. After 2-3 weeks in I’m looking at this as a tiny bit of a chore….
Business notebook
I’m dedicating an entire notebook to Pebble Stationery Co for 2022. Normally I carry on with whatever notebook I’ve been using and cobble everything in the one notebook, but it was really annoying me last year, that everything was so disorganised. Also, if you follow this blog you will know last year I was attempting to use up partially used notebooks. Well I might have taken this concept a little too far and got to the point where I was trying to use up quarter pages and gaps in the pages where the paper was unused. It’s a bit extreme when, let’s be honest, I have quite good access to notebooks – probably more than I would use in a lifetime, and since it was bothering my tendency to organise, I decided this was quite silly.
Pocket notebook
I normally use our Pocket sized notebooks for my daily carry and I still continue to love this size. However, I also enjoy using the marginally larger A6 size, so I’m going to try and rotate this size into my carry.
What are you using this year and have you made any changes to your system?
